I know someone else posted a while back asking about the Browning BAR in 7mm-08.

I just got mine sighted in today. After getting the scope set, this was my first 3-shot group from 100 yards (on a lead sled). No accuracy problems with this rifle!

I won't post pictures of my 3-shot group from my shooting sticks. Too bad I can't take that sled hunting. :D

i hope nothing comes in close

great bullet for accuracy and long range

but that factory ammo in a tc pro hunter bbl was explosive i seen several pictures of destruction when spit n drum killed a few

good shooting and beautiful rifle

I've shot a few does with the .270 130 SST inside 100 yards and not had any problems.

That is one of the best groups I can recall seeing coming out of an auto. Sweet!

Zowee wowee, The BAR reputation is still pretty good. And lead sled or not, you still gotta pull the trigger. Factory ammo makes the results even more impressive.

TNREB,

How is the felt recoil? I have owned a 7mm-08 and a BAR, but not in the same package. I would imagine that the felt recoil is negligible.

I read an article about the value of a semi auto rifle while hunting in the woods from a tree stand. According to the article, the semi auto is preferred because there is no additional sound of chambering a round. With the semi auto you simply shoot and wait to take another shot. With the bolt action you shoot and the sound of chambering another round might spook off other game. Interesting point.

Great shootin!
