Bank fishing with my son?

Promised my son I'd take him fishing Tue evening. Where would be a good place to fish from the bank around Cookeville,Baxter or Gainesboro area? Thx.

I have no idea about anywhere in that area but it's cool that you are taking him fishing.

usually some perty good bank fishing below the dams. how old is the boy?

17,just not fished much. May give Cordell Hull a try.

17 is good. if he was real young, i was going to suggest a lifejacket at all times(still not a bad idea for everybody in some places)and caution against taking him below some dams.
