Bag limit per day is one Bobcat, is there a exception for trappers? Don't get me wrong, Awesome catch. Just curious on the regulations. Whats a guy to do if he checks traps and is lucky enough to have two or more in a set?

Maybe he has a friend?

Maybe. Please don't think of my post in anyway as negative. I'm just wondering what the rules are, I'm thinking of starting up trapping and just wanna be following the law.

That is a good question because, most trappers (obviously) set more than one trap at a time. You aren't actively shooting 2 bobcats, you just happened to catch 2, and nothing's saying they were both caught on the same day if you happened to not check them 2 consecutive days in a row. I'd be interested to see what the law is on that as well.

From the TWRA Guide

TRAPPING SEASONS
Beaver, coyote, groundhog - Open year-round, no limit
Bobcat, fox, mink, muskrat, opossum, otter, raccoon, spotted skunk, striped skunk, weasel - Opens on Nov. 22. Closes on Feb. 28, 2014. No limit.

I stand corrected. Thanks because I did not know that. I do believe I will delete that previous post so I don't look like an idiot

Na, I did the same thing this morning. I'm a Hunter not a trapper and thought its was only 1 per day. I guess TWRA are pro trapper.
