Ballistol?

I've seen this stuff mentioned a lot over the years, and lately I've seen some reviews that claim it's about the best thing you could ever clean up your guns with, especially blackpowder. I went ahead and ordered some yesterday.

Any of y'all use it, and if so, what's your regimen?

I use it. I also use Kano Kroil. I bought Ballistol primarily for my Black Powder rifles, but I like it for everything. It does have a strong odor however. Read this link and you will shortly be taking it as a vitamin supplement!

Had I only ever seen that infomercial I would have immediately dismissed it, but I have seen lots of experienced gun owners highly recommend it.

Seems to have an interesting history, too. Invented in Germany over a hundred years ago and used by the Wehrmacht through both World Wars. Hitler supposedly drank his for a stomach ailment during WWI. :crazy:

That is funny! I could not see that video at work earlier when I sent it. LMAO! That Ballistol is a miracle....shines the truck, use as bug spray, cures what ailes you. I wonder why Billy Mays has not jumped on this. "A revolutionary new product".... been in use over 100 years for God's sake.
Oh well Arse, rest assured you and me are at the forefront of this new wave. I am going now, got to slug a shot glass of Ballistol!
