Decided to Plan a trip to Ballard WMA in KY rather than make a trip to Shawnee next year.

Hunted there twice, once for me and once on the juvenile, lots of big fields.
I didn't venture into the woods much, just hung on the field edges.
I know they kill some big deer there though.

From what I have read they have a very good size herd and 1:1 ratio of buck to doe. Did you see many hunters ruger?
WMA shuts down on OCT 15 no hunting after that except on the 400 acre tract that is open the public under statewide regs...LOTS of pressure in there.....
