I caught 5 keepers crappie this morning and decided that
I would have fresh crappie for supper tonight. I will have to say my little dish is simple and tastes outstanding.

1. Melt butter into a small casserole dish.

2. Place filets into dish and make sure and make coat the top side of the filets with some of the butter.

3. Season with a little garlic powder and some Tony C's. (Don't over do the seasoning and take away from the taste of the crappie.)

4. Sprinkle some parmesean cheese over the top and then add some cheddar cheese to give the dish some color.

5. Bake in oven at 375 degrees for about 20 minutes.

Enjoy!!!!

Sounds great but I thought it was against the law to cook crappie any other way than frying them.

So did I!

I know that it is against my religion and I'd be disowned from my family if I did it.

Recipe does sound good now that Im out of the house I might have to sneak it in sometime.
