Bacon Venison Burgers

A good friend told me about this meat processor that uses only bacon in his burger. Let me tell you OH MY GOD...to die for.

4lbs venison burger
Worcestershire Sauce to taste
1 tbls onion salt
1 tbls garlic salt

Grill and fix to taste. A bacon dream burger...... :grin:

thats how i grind what little i do grind. i usually put 25% in the grind. how much does your friend put in his?

He told me he uses about 5 lbs. per deer if your doing the whole deer. So I don't know what that breaks down to... :confused:

I use hickory smoked bacon for burger. Have for several years and my wife refuses go use store bought burger. Bad news is I only killed one deer this year.

use 1 lbs to 5lbs of deer,if you have folks that dont like deer you can up the lbs,it will have about 3 oz per pound of deer meat,a decent amount of fat to make them cook a little moisture,good stuff,mike243

We've got a processor in West, TN that uses bacon. Cost a little extra, but well worth it.
