For you guys that bake the bacon in the oven what temperature and how long do you bake it? And does the parchment paper make a big difference?
THIS! Bacon grease seems to bleed through parchment and still makes a mess on the sheet pan. Wrapping with foil makes clean-up alot easier.I do 400° for anywhere between 20-30 minutes depending on thickness and desired crispiness. I also line the pan with foil to help with cleanup.

My grandmother had a bacon grease thing that sat on her stove. It had a strainer in the top. Don't recall ever seeing her throw it out.How long do you guys think bacon grease is good for? Do you keep yours in the fridge? I have started freezing the extra, but probably won't ever use it.. Mostly do it just to piss the wife off. :D
