Yall, I decided after dinner tonight that I would hunt my backyard for a few since Ive been hunting all my neighbors yards and havent spent much time in my own and I didnt want to be roaming around elsewhere in the dark with my headlamp on and get shot or have the police called on me!! Im sure glad I did. I found 2 3 ringers, a trigger off something, a key, the nose cap off an Enfield rifle and my 2nd odd coin since I started doing this a few months ago. Tonights coin is a 1934 Australian 2 shillings! Now how in the world do yall think it found its way in to Franklin Tn.? The map I p[osted shows my house (red dot) on a Battle of Franklin map so Im in a great spot and hope for more cool stuff!!! Thanks for looking!

Rockhound, yall come back whenever yall want! Ive got over an acre, maybe 2 right here around me, 7 neighbors worth and Id love yalls help, I hate it that dog gone rain come in that day but you and your Dad will always have a place to hunt here. I think ive found about 30 bullets here and there and I aint even hit 10% of where I got permission. COME ON UP MAN! holler at me
 
I had a Great Great Grandfather that fought at the battle of Franklin. Tn 5th infantry.
 
I would love to take a stab at metal detecting with you sometime. I have been doing it since I was a early teenager off and on(Now 46), but have never found anything of value.
