Food Plots Back pack sprayer

I'm in the market for abs prayer to treat (2) 1/2 acre plots. Suggestions?

I tried a backpack sprayer on similar sized plots and it was too hard for me to keep up with what I had sprayed and what I hadn't. I ended up getting a 15 gallon atv sprayer and I could keep up with my tire tracks much better. I used it a lot with clethodim for killing grass and glyphosate when I need to burn everything down. I also fight serecia in my plots and found that a wicking bar works best for that because the serecia gets taller and I can hit it with the bar and not touch the stuff that I want to grow.

You can get dye to put in the sprayer. I'm sure using the ATV is easier though.

A backpack sprayer is a pain in the butt just for me using on my yard, and I have less than a half acre. If you have an ATV that you can pull one with, I'd keep an eye on craigslist & peddlers for a used pull-behind sprayer.

Otherwise, I have a Stihl backpack sprayer and it works well.

I use a 5 gallon Birchmeier backpack sprayer with a 3-nozzle spray boom, but I only do this because I don't have an ATV sprayer or an ATV. My setup was not inexpensive, but it works very well.
