What are some of your favorite wood or chips to use on them? Methods etc...

I think I will use some Johnny trigg rub and smoke with some apple or pecan this weekend.

I think I will use some Johnny trigg rub and smoke with some apple or pecan this weekend.

I like to use apple in conjunction with any woods. Pecan, hickory, maple, and usually a small little handful of mesquite chips. Go easy on mesquite though, since it's a pretty powerful smoke.

Other fruit woods like peach, plum, and pear work well too.
