I have a set and they work well.

I expected $129, from the listed price in the website, but they were $119 at the store.
 
I have a set of the axil ghoststrike that are 3yo and just crapped out, dead battery and wont take a charge.

I really liked the wire joining the two... made it more difficult to lose them.

I have some noise reducing Bluetooth ear buds from another brand, but they tend to want to fall out of my ear when chewing, yawning, etc.

Do these earbuds really stick in well? Hate to use them hunting, have 1 fall out in tall grass or a creek crossing, and it be done for

Using them all day Saturday they never felt like they were falling out. The earbud tips that they give you weren't really that comfortable. A buddy of mine sent me a link from Amazon that are some foam ear tips to replace them with. They are the Comply 200 series foam ear tips. I replaced them with those and they feel more comfortable in my ear and actually maybe a little more secure.
 
Anybody use these daily for bluetooth calls? I typically wear one throughout the day at work (Project manager) and thought the noise canceling would be good for hunting.
 
I actually used them yesterday outside to listen to a podcast as I cleaned some rifles on my patio. The outside noise was canceled fairly well and the podcast was loud and clear.

As a side note, it has 3 settings, low medium and high, for the amplification of the ambient noise. The amplification settings doesn't affect the loud noises (gun fire) from being cut off.

Mega, do these perform pretty well for turkey hunting? My hearing has never been great, but has gotten even worse as I've gotten older. My hunting partners can always hear far away toms, and even closer hens, that I can't. I may give these a try if you recommend them.

They are good for the price...

I used to have a pair of 'sound scope' hearing aids that were incredible, molded to my ears, but were $400 at cost (normally $800 retail at the ENTs office). I lost them in some tall grass on a stalk.

I have a set of Walkers Alpha old muffs that are my favorite for amplification and direction... but the muffs are bulky.

The Axil are not great at determining direction, decent for amplifying turkey vocalizations, but not great in that department either. But they are super compact, weigh nothing, and do work great at the shot for sound reduction to protect your ears. For $80, they are serviceable in the turkey woods. There are much better hearing amplification aids out there, but at a cost 5 to 6x more.
 
Thank you, I'm not ready to fork out the big bucks for the best, but didn't want to waste money either. These will probably be helpful to an extent and will be nice for tractor music. Thanks. 👍

They are quite handy to use mowing the yard or operating the backpack leaf blower. I pop them in, Bluetooth to my phone, and listen to music while cutting the grass and blowing off the driveway. My zero turn is LOUD, and these really save my ears without having to wear muffs in our 100d summers.
