With this cooler weather, and all this rain,to start up some plots, actually, all I will be doing is resseding the paths the loggers took thru my plots. They did a good job and stuck to one path with the skidder, just minor clover and oats repair.Think Ill wait though. What say you?

I planted a small plot of brassicas this past weekend - the only reason I did it was because I was heading back overseas on Monday. Hopefully I lucked out with as much rain as we have gotten the past few days

Planning on disking & spreading fert on some Sat if don't get rained out. Maybe plant some in a couple weeks.

we usually wait until the end of september...for some reason it seems that the weeds don't come up as thick during that time of year and the plots have turned out great.

too much hot weather left for me. i prefer the first two or even the third week of sept. for best results.

I agree it is tempting, but all I keep reminding myself of is all that dust, and I mean DUST I ate in Late September, and all of October putting in food plots last fall. Man, it was dry last fall. I really hope it stays like this.
