Awesome night at Beech Lake

We had a great night of fishing at Beech Lake last night. Didn't get on the water until 9:30 or 10 last night, and the fishing was somewhat slow to start. By 1 am, we only had 3 little dinks boated, and several short strikes. Pulled up on one spot and caught another dink. Made a simple bait modification and hit the motherlode. In the next hour, we put 25-26 lbs in the boat for our best 5. Made a change to a location we hit just a bit earlier in the night, and it worked there also. Stayed until 4:30 am and left with some sore ribs and shoulders. Here's a few pics.

Sure we do. From 10-1 am when it was slow, I caught a couple dinks. Also would throw stuff in the water behind my buddy to make him think there was fish busting. When he had his back to me fishing off the back of the boat, I'd reach over and tap the butt end of his rod and watch em take 'the stance' like he was about to set the hook. Lol

Big time lake! Not all that into bass, except occasionally I'll fish a wacky worm for variety, but last year, while reeling in a yellow perch, a four pounder nailed my catch,(missed it the first time, but tried again instantly and scored). When I landed the bass, it was hooked in the corner of the mouth with my #4 aberdeen and the perch was gone.
