My step dad passed away a few months ago. My mom gave me his prestine Austin and Halleck in-line smoke pole. I have been shooting an old knight lk-93 for around the last 18 years. I was wondering if anyone else on here has one and has any good load data to start out with on this rifle. Thank you

I had a friend who hunted with one. It was a nice looking rifle. I remember his load was one 30 plus one 50 grain pyrodex pellet(80 grs), .45 XTP with proper sabot, and a #11 cap. He said its the load that he got his best accuracy with. He never had any trouble killing or recovering a deer with it. All his shots were under 60 yards.

Thank you, I have been doing some research and gonna start at 80 grains and try some different weight sabots. Maybe I can find a good combo before season start. I have been shooting 150 grain triple 7 with a 200 grain sabot in the knight and have killed deer out to 200 yards with it.

I would get some Blackhorn powder only.

Always thOught that would also make a nice smokeless conversion.
