I still think vols have lost all confidence in Pruitt and it would not be unlikely for them to look at Gus given the fact he has beat ALABAMA and Kevin Steele ties to the vols

if they think they could get him it could happen .

Malzahn is one of only four coaches to beat Saban three times. The other three: Spurrier (UF 2x, USCar 1x), Lloyd Carr (Michigan), and Joe Tiller (Purdue). Tommy Tuberville was 4-3 vs Saban. Meyer was 2-2 and Swinney is 2-1.

I would. It be surprised if he does . But damn I'm going to lose my mind seeing him on the sideline if it does happen . Going to cuss like a sailor everytime they show a shot of him .

The lack of OOC games has been profound. Hurt defenses ability to gel, hurt ability of teams to build depth, and I think we are seeing records were padded for some in prior seasons by having those games. Malzahn was hurt by missing those two G5 games and the FCS game. 8-4 or 9-3 looks a lot better than 6-4.

This was the first season of the Saban era where Alabama played more than three P5 teams in a row without a bye, a G5 game, or an FCS game.

Clemson weaknesses got exposed when Lawrence was sidelined with Covid . Without Lawrence Clemson is just anotjer top 25 ish team .
