Bought this one. Assembly was straight forward. Seem to be pretty good quality. Made in USA.
Filled with water for a test run. 3 hose fittings leaking. Clamp type hose clamps so you can't tighten them. Pulled out hose clamp kit and made all repairs. Had to remove pressure gauge and reapply Teflon tape to fix leak. No big deal, half an hour of my labor plus a few bucks for materials.
Mixed chemicals and sprayed all areas needed to be sprayed. Wand sprayer worked very well; brass nozzle. Boom sprayer workd well, had to tie wrap hoses away from exhaust to prevent hose from melting. Waited two weeks for areas to turn brown, then went back out and used the wand to hit areas that were still green.
Worked on unit today to winterize it since everything will be dead soon anyway. Noticed the fitting that bypasses from the pump back into the tank. Plastic male thread coming out of tank. Female plastic nut to attach bypass hose was cross threaded and popped off. Threads are stripped.
QC was absolutely terrible. Majority of fittings/screws/fasteners were loose from the factory.
Tank would need to be replaced. I was under 30 days for the return so I disassembled the unit and boxed it back up to ship directly to Northern Tool.
Major disappointment. I don't recommend buying this unit. Buy something else. The bypass fitting is a poor design and will eventually fail. Fortunately for me, it was sooner than later.
In the market for a different brand/model once Northern Tool refunds my money.
