I am going on a bow hunt in November in Kansas. It is legal to bait. I planned on using some bait in a few areas. Last year I used corn with Cmere Deer powder and it worked pretty well. Just interested in any other success stories you might have had with a product. Thanks.

Before the cmere deer company got rid of buck gravy I used that 2 weeks before opening day of gun season here in Tennessee. I placed the stuff on a broken bend in a fallen tree that I knew deer crossed and drenched the bend with it. That morning around 7:00 I had an eleven point on the ground. He came into the field running but he wasn't running towards the beans in the field I was on, he headed straight for the downed tree! A solid 14 days after I put just one bottle down. That's one product I stand behind but I believe that quit making it.

If you are hunting somewhere like that where it is legal, probably most people are baiting as well and I would think it would be hard to beat plain old corn. It's cheap and they like it a lot. My dad swears by rice bran and deer seem to really like it once they try it out.
