If the weather does as forecast, I'll be in the thicket about 3 and then again, tomorrer mawnin. What I'm hoping is that sky-clearing break this atternoon actually happens and then, I hope it rains some tonight and clears again in the mawnin.

This right here is my kind of weather. Now if I can just get a doe to come by instead of dem leetle bucks.
 
They were on their feet this morning ! Jus came out to check n doe that I shot at 7:45 and get her dressed.
Saw 18 total, 3 being bucks. Even had a little chasing/grunting action this morning bout 09:00. Had rattled and a spike came in from my right and a 120" eight on my left, spike soon left and other buck stayed around for 7-8 minutes walking off toward the river bank only to push a big doe n 2 yearlings rite back by me, grunting bout every 4th step.!! Plan on goin back early myself. Good luck to ya :)
 
Good luck bowriter! I know you had rather shoot does, but I would love to see you kill a "monster" buck. I know you have killed some good ones over the years. I would love to see you standing behind a massive rack and I would love to read you story on killing him. Not that your small buck and doe stories are not good, but it would be neat to have you kill an exceptional buck so close to your home.
 
I doubt there is an exceptional buck close tomy home. However, the landowner keeps telling about one he sees that has bases larger than his wrists.

But...he drinks :)
 
Hey-How do y'all put Update in the topic box when you update? Well, anyway, slow. Let a basket 8 think he had me fooled and shot him pretend about four times at 40-60 yards and thenit got almost dark and I cmae home to await the morning when I shall again climb my twee.

Now, how you do that update thing?
