I had this buck the last week of bow before muzzle within a 100yds for an hour. He was following a young doe and came my direction the whole time. He would literally walk 15yds stop and lick his lips and his balls/junk grunt a few times stand like a statue for 15+ minutes. He would Than walk 15 yds stop and repeat above process. The doe he was following the whole time was 10ft from my stand feeding and he was at about 55yds when he suddenly stomped hard and snorted at her spooking her and he chased after her. I watched this play out for an hour+!!! I was already picturing him in the back of my truck....Might of been my best/worst hunt all together. At least I know he made it but he'll be 10x harder to kill next year as a 5.5... This is his weaker side his other side has a split G2 and G3. Spent 3-4 hours looking for the other side. I'll be going back this weekend. Found several rubs that looked pretty fresh too...
