Hey y'all. I got problem yotes on two properties. One is my house. Got a pack of 4 running my field 40 yards from my porch. One looks to be about 45 ~ 50 pounds. Im gonna try to post y'all a video.to see em. What works well this time of year. Friday I plan to Baptist a box of deer scraps with a predator call. Any recommendations?

I've never called over scraps... kind of mixes 2 styles of hunting. (not sure if that would be good?) All times of the year predator distress will work.. Coyote vocalizations aren't as recommended this time of year... but can still work... usually when they're having pups or breeding is best for that though.

Use the distress calls unless you want to set and wait over the "bait". If they are in hearing distance they will come to investigate if nothing else. Good luck!

"& ther in my salt lick of course.", man the way you said that was hilarious, killed me.

First off... a disclaimer, always check the reg book to see whats allowed by law.
now thats outta the way if it were me I'd just try a distress call of sorts, a rabbit, squirrel call, turkey call can pull'em in, kinda like fish'n...just try somethin.

Looks like ther comfortable hang'n around so it mite not take a lot but you can count on 1 thing, when the gun go's off dog number 2 is gonna be haul'n a$$ outta ther, they learn quik so fool'n them a second time mite be so easy.

Keep us posted.

Line them up and take two at once, if you have a shotgun, load up buckshot with modified choke if they are close enough. Once they have been shot at they will not respond to calls in the future. 17HMR and up, I don't like 22 rimfires, punch right through two dogs at once.

I have to state my personal dislike of these animals. I was living in Glendale CA when a coyote jumped a tiny fence, grabbed a baby, bit it in the head and killed it as the Mom came running out of the house. This was less than 1 mile from me. Kill every last coyote you see. They take a staggering toll on fawns, also.
