Got to the woods around 4:45 this morning. Stop gather up my stuff then remembered to turn my ringer off on my phone. I pulled out my phone and put it back in my cargo pocket. Moon was out enough I thought I would walk in without a flashlight. I get about 5 steps in front of the truck and then hear "driver get back in your vehicle" I am on private land and a mile from a road. My heart starts beating and I fumbled around in my pack for my flashlight. I am scanning the woods and trying to figure out where they are. I am waiting for them to shout again but nothing. Then I realized where "they" were. Reached in my pocket and turned off my sons facebook that I accidentally opened when I put it back in my pocket. Someone had shared a video on his phone of a cop pulling someone over. I don't know if it's worth it to have his facebook on my phone....

Haha. That's really funny.

Reminds me of a time I was hunting a new lease out in Polk Co. There was known bear activity in the area, and I was walking out through a swampy area from my stand after dark. I had a doe bleat can in my cargo pocket. Something must have been covering the hole because I started hearing a short
"bwwaaa" sound with every step. Sounded just like a little cub or something, lol. I must have liked like a lighthouse spinning in circles with my flashlight searching the surrounding woods until I figured it out, haha.
