Anybody plant arugula? Last year, I bought a couple different types of arugula seeds from a company. I don't want them for cooking. I want them for eating, like salads and sammiches N such. And I told the seed company that.
So I planted them, and they came up like gangbusters. They blew away all my spinach and lettuce varieties. The only problem is that they tasted horrible. Just one bite was brutally tart. It wasn't the soil, as all my other greens were fantastic. I assume they steered me in the wrong direction and gave me the cooking variety.
Does anybody have advice on a specific arugula seed variety/company to grow for salads? Thanks in advance.
