I found an arrow on the property I hunt. The broad head is part of the arrow. It has a plastic nock. The arrow almost sounds like it is steel. In my 32 years of bow hunting I have never encountered this type of arrow.

well, not steel. maybe a tough alloy of aluminum.

one person thinks it may be a Trueflite, not the fletching company.

That's a new one on me....

I been around bows since before the ones with wheels.

I've shot a few dozen XX 75 2018 Easton's and a few Gamegetter XX 75 2018's in my time.

They made some tough arrows. I still have a few.
 
I just got reminded that not all steel alloys are magnetic so it could be steel. One person stated since steel rusts, if it rusted from the inside a person could get a surprise at the shot.
 
After looking at the pics again the shaft is marked like an Easton Gamegetter.

Based on the two dark colored bands around the shaft.

The head appears to be a three blade as best as I can tell.

Back in those days a lot of us shot 3 bladed heads .

Just never seen one made into the shaft like that.

What County was it found in? Possibly some "home town sporting goods store special"..
 
It is a two blade with slots for bleeder blades. The paint looks to be spray painted on. The paint is rough in spots.
