I like to use systemic methods when possible.

MontereyBT will kill the army worms without any pesticides. It upsets their digestive system and they die soon afterwards. Highly recommended for army worms.
 
I had a really nice stand of rye and clover that is nearly all dirt now I'm going to have to replant this week. I suspect army worms wiped my rye out in west tn. They're in my yard and pasture now. I had to go spray this afternoon. Thought I was going to be golden this year with the timely rains. My stuff in Arkansas seems to be doing well though. It's still hot though so it's not the end of the world. I'll be traveling for work early bow season, and as long as I have some green by the second week in oct I'll count my blessings.
 
I'm having problems, but it ain't worms.

Had drought again this year so I haven't had to mow but twice in the last 2 months. Now the army worms are back (had them in 2022 also).
Once again they mowed down my backyard clover plot and hit my yard hard.

Haven't had a chance to check on my clover plot at my lease.
 
They come through parts of Marion county about 3 weeks ago. Between the drought and worms my yards toast. Plots in Lincoln county looked ok last week, fingers crossed they stay that way.
 
It it just me or do the army worms just eat the good stuff. My 5 acres has bermuda plus a clover plot. But I've got lots of weed and other grasses. Seems like they're only eating my bermuda and clover. Probably eating other stuff as well, but I've got some stuff they didn't touch.

Two years ago, the Army Worms wiped out my rye, but didn't touch the wheat and clover until the rye was all gone.
 
Had to spray my wheat / clover plot and yard Sunday. The ground was just moving with them. They wiped out my yard before I knew they were there.
 
We have them here as well. Spotted them last Thursday morning. My lawn folks were here Thursday afternoon applying what ever it is that they use. Fortunately we caught them early!
 
I swear I had em, thought grass was making a come back, and then hammered again. Is this possible? I know they have a short life span.
