Does anyone know how to trap these digging little turds? I am ready to wage war!

No but if you go out in the evening just before it gets dark they are more active. Kicking some leaves around will sometimes make them think other dillers are around and get them moving. .22 will take care of them.

Never tried trapping one but this person caught one with a live trap and a drift fence.
