Picked up one this morning to plant along with my other apples, $38 something with tax. Hopefully will keep fruit a little later than the other trees i have.
I'm planting several enterprise and goldrush apple trees this year just for that reason. Also planting a bunch of liberty and other varieties, berries of all sorts, and persimmons, pears, and nut trees. Making a new orchard with some permaculrure ideas of layering. Will have multiples of varieties ripening from mid summer deep into winter, from canopy high down to the ground. No idea how well it'll work but it'll be fun finding out.
