A friend and myself have been drawn for an archery hunt at Arkabutla Lake Oct 26-27, 2012. We have no experience hunting there and was curious if anyone had any advice/stories from there. The hunt will be encompassing the red zone north of the Outlet Channel and West of Dub Patton Day Use Area. This area is a nature preserve and gets hunted twice a year. I have emailed the Field Office there and they have standing beans, hardwoods, pines... So it should be an awesome hunt, but would love to hear anyone's stories/experiences. Thanks, Brent
