With all the college football posturing seems some forgot that real football kicks of Thursday night. Pats vs Steelers..2 storied franchises take the field to kick off the NFL season. Fantasy lineup is in/dvr set....Time for GRONK! But i really can't wait to see Mariota and the Titans run all over the Buccaneers.

it is possible to watch both.. i do every week. i do enjoy college, but just appreciate the skill of the NFL players. also very few blowouts in the NFL because everybody is skilled enough to actually play the game.

i am cautiously optimistic. i know mariota will do great but i don't know how much pressure the running game can take off him. can what till kickoff sunday night.

Not for me..... Hard enough to fit in hunting and college football on the weekends. Lost interest in the NFL when players started jumping around. That why fantasy football has taken over to keep interest in the NFL.... :)

yep... the NFL is really hurting. I guess the part that avid college only fans have with NFL is that you can't play Bowling green, New Mexico, or UT Martin 5 games out of the season :lol:

I enjoy watching both NFL and college football

I think mariota will have the better game overall, but may lose on the road in week 1. Hope I'm wrong.

Tampa bay has the better overall team, Winston has a lot better weapons also. Then add the fact his playing at home! Tampa bay/Winston would have to play pretty bad to get beat by the titans.

I can care less what GRONK! And the pats do :mrgreen:

Buc football starts Sunday @ 4:30... College Football is the best ,but NFL is growing again in this area. Should be a good game from last years 2 worst teams. Only one problem so far:

we're trying to watch the game and direct tv is giving us a "sorry for the interruption screen". looks like they could wait until the florida gators were playing the Northwest Santa Rosa Community College Screaming Seagulls before they did satellite maintenance
