I hear Kentucky lake and reelfoot are covered in ducks right now. Anybody hunt around here today or yesterday? I took Friday off because if it gets good, now is the time!

Yes, talked to a guide yesterday and he said 3 of his blinds whacked 'em yesterday.

I knew I should have drove up there yesterday. :bash:
 
We plan put a smack down on them yesterday! We saw a ton of new ducks and could have limited out the bind 3 or 4 times over and I heard the same story from everybody I talked to.
 
I should clarify my above post was regarding KY lake.

Dodge Man,
All the birds that were at Gooch Sunday must have just hopped over to Dyersburg Tuesday.
We saw ONE big group (about 100) of mallards yesterday and after that, nadda.

I do know if we were to get lucky and get a top 5 pick for Gooch next year, I know which blinds will be our top choices. LOL
 
We saw some early before 8AM but the big bunches we worked in and killed good numbers out of were after 2PM. Most were after 3PM- sunset.

I know its fun hunting KY Lake for some people but there not killing 40, 50, 80 mallards a day like some of the blinds here in West TN. :party:

That makes sense. I noticed the sun came out about 2 and at Gooch you have to quit by 3. :bash:
 
Definitely some birds around! Had some good hunts over the weekend. Shot 15 over the weekend with 2 guys. Not bad for Nashville area.
