ar scope mount.........

i am needing a good mount system for an a/r platform for my 458

scope will be a zeiss 3-9x40
1 inch tube

Be careful. the one-piece ones have a limited amount of space for a full size scope like the Zeiss. You cannot scoot the scope back far enough to get proper eye relief and or you cannot work the charging handle. Some of the rails you can buy have the exact same problem-you cannot place the rail and the scope fo you can get proper eye relief and/or you cannot work the charging handle.

Our AR now is back to iron sights until I can find a scope I like that actually fits. There are a bunch of cheap chi-com POS junk useless base/rings/scopes running around for the AR family be careful.

Nikon M223 mount and the Burris PEPR both been good.

Vortex has a good looking mount also.

Put some blue loctite on the rail attachment screws.

When it comes loose, get a Geissele or Larue.
