AR front grip

Any of you guys have a favorite front grip on your HD/Tactical rifle?

Friend looking to transition a varmint/predator AR into a HD/Tactical weapon. The handguard is an Armalite brand 1/3 railed and 2/3 smooth/round. So there is only about 3" of rail to attach a grip on the bottom side of the handguard.

Depends how much he's willing to spend. I got a blackhawk one and it was about 25.00 and that's on the cheaper end for a quality one.

I would say reasonable..... maybe in the $50-$75 range if possible.

I've got a Knights Armament and Magpul,like them both.

The Tango Down Vertical Grip is a nice one for around 70.00. Magpuls are nice too.

i have the Magpul AFG. I like it because it fits the contour of my hand and the angle makes it feel like its in a natural position.

That's the one to go with I believe..... only 3" of rail to play with so may have to go with the Gen2.

Or the magpul regular front grip looks pretty good too.
