Bought my first AR, DPMS Oracle .223 and shot 30 rounds thru it yesterday for first time. Great groups at 75yds! I really enjoyed it but the trigger seems really bad compared to my Rem 700 deer rifle. I would like to get something around 4lb unless these triggers are standard on AR's. I am a novice on these, someone help!

Not trying to hi jack thread but this trigger is for "small pin lower". Will this fit a Dpms oracle? Again AR ignorant

Yes the DPMS and 95% of all lowers are small pin.

I installed an ALG Defense trigger in mine and love it. Can't beat that upgrade for the $.

Which trigger did you get Bucc? Are these made in the U.S.?

++++1 on the ALG Defense trigger. It is made in the USA by a division of Geissele and it is a super trigger for a hunting rifle for about $65. To beat this trigger significantly you have to spend another $150-200 IMO.

In my line of work there are Consultants that get paid for their knowledge and help. I would just like say a BIG THANKS to the titans on this forum that help all us neophytes when it comes to building AR's, reloading, etc.

I would take Infoman's advise on this trigger. Next time I do this I will jus get him to build me one! Ha!

I have two Rock River National Match 2 stage triggers and one Geiselle G2s. The Geiselle costs 2x the Rock River and imho is none better. Should have saved my money on the Geiselle and got another Rock River. The pull on both feel almost identical. The only difference I can feel is the front face shape and feel of the two triggers. The Geiselle has a sort of rounded edge and the Rock River face is more squared off. The Rock River can be bought for $79 shipped.

May I ask who has them for $79 shipped?

Im watching this thread as well. Does anybody make a SINGLE stage AR trigger in the 2 to 2.5 lb range?
AR Gold is a fantastic single stage trigger. The hiperfire hipertouch 24C is no slouch either.
