Anything biting ?

Going to take a half day off Wednesday and go to S- side of priest. One of the stones river forks, west one I think?.

Anything biting? Crappie? Bass? Stripers? Yellow bass?

2 weeks ago the crappie bite was great although i was not fishing for them i saw several boats that were and witnessed several crappie being landed. at one time i counted 19 boats within eyesight of me and they all seemed to be fishing for them.

meet a guy back at ramp and we talked about how many boats were on the water that day and he said they been wearing crappie out.

My Dad went crappie fishing today. Only caught 9 but 5 of them were over 2.lbs. The biggest was 2 lb 7 oz.

Went today on Priest,40.5 around Suggs creek,pretty cold,o-fer on small mouth

Since I live in Mboro, Need to start fishing the S. end of Priest since it is closest to home.

First time out so it will be a recon trip as much as anything.
Hope to get enough for a fish fry.

Caught a bunch of shortie bass. They liked the tube jig.
ZERO crappie.

Bunch o fat brim. Not a bad trip considering the wind gusting to 25mph.

Should have switched over to bass fishing after the 3rd one but we wanted to find some crappie.
