Anyone trapping?

Haven't seen any activity on this posting. Wondering if anyone is doing any trapping and having any luck.

I plan to set a few after deer season winds down.

Plan on trying to get some coyote sets in today when I get home.

Had planned on setting some dp's this evening but changed my mind with the rain coming in.

I dyed and waxed some this weekend. Getting ready to go soon.

I've got 2 of them set in the back field. I caught a Tomcat last week, I use rubber-jawed traps, so I released him and he's ok. Other than that, I've not caught anything lately.

I've got 4 sets out at the house for a week now caught 3 reds and a coyote.

I've got some DP'S I'm fixing to put out. And have some bobcat and coyote traps coming in. Gonna try my hand at that. Really excited about it

Set 3 two days ago. I'm getting owned so far one dig out and one got pooped on. I set one dog proof and caught a possum.

I've caught 8 there in those 2 locations in the past 2 weeks . It's a highway to a feed lot a 1/4 of a mile down the road. I'm probably going to pull them this week and start trapping beaver ,one of the males was rubbed real bad today.

Their guard hairs are breaking off or falling out making them not look as pretty for todays fashions. They still have alot of fur just alot less guard hairs (the long ones). Which coincides with mating season.
