Just curious if there would be any interest in a poster-size (24"x36") chart displaying bucks by age-class. Each age-class has a short description of the identifying features and examples of measurements I use for field-judging age.

If enough are interested, I can have these posters printed and laminated and bring them to the 'Vous. Don't know what I would have to charge to cover the printing/paper/ink and lamination, but probably in the range of $20.

The chart looks like this:

Cathole will be needing one.

I'm going to need to tape one to my bow so I don't screw up.

BSK, make sure you take "extra" pics of 2 1/2- 3 1/2 yo for us cathole boys. I'm gonna need it. Maybe a club seminar. food provided. ;)

Quiver, I can pick it up at the vous for us.

Oh, dude, what a great idea! I don't know if I can make it to the Vous, but I would like to get one somehow. I pretty much suck at it once you get past 1 1/2.

My only question is
 "Why didn't you think of this sooner?!"

From your initial public offering,
I'll commit to at least 5 of the BSK Consulting Buck Aging Posters V1.0 - TN

Volume discounts? ;)

Get them printed this week, and I'd bet you could unload a bunch at Tunica.

. . . . it would have to be signed by the great BSK lol
Perfect! In fact, I refuse to buy one without the hero's signature.
Something like... Quality Whitetail's "Age This!" Panelist B

And, of course, we do expect all of the initial offering to be signed by the artist. ;)

Wes,

Unfortunately, there's been a death in my family (an uncle) and I'll be at a funeral in Arizona this weekend. Looks like I'm going to miss the SEDSG meeting for the first time in a decade.

Bryan,

Sorry to hear of your loss.

By the way, the biggest highlights of the SEDSG meetings I've attended have been having 3 days of opportunity to "pick your brain" about your research in Tennessee. I'm sure many besides me will truly miss that opportunity this year.

Bryan,

Sorry to hear about your loss. Thoughts will be with you.

I'm not going to the vous, but would be interested in a poster. Can we mail order them?

Thanks
CZ

I'll check into shipping costs. I have a friend that runs a large-batch mailing company to see what kind of price I could get on shipping.

Bryan,

I'd recommend you have a "Shipping & Handling" charge, not just a "shipping" charge. "Handling" items can cost you more than the shipping, whether it's your own valuable time or you pay someone else to do it. Also, don't overlook the cost of packaging for shipping.

Wes,

The company mentioned is a "we do it all" type company. Kind of a specialty business. They handle all the packaging and mailing of promotional items for the Record Companies. I'll have to get a quote.

Maybe I need to buy one for every store around here so maybe some hunters will learn what a 1 1/2 old spike buck looks like and stop calling them 3 1/2.

Or worse, a "cull buck."

I've got to get that poster to a printer. Although I definitely want ot make some changes to it first (I now have some better example pictures).
