Anyone going out in this wind this evening?

Worked out in the wind today. That's the coldest I have got in a while, and a deer was the last thing on my mind! Next week is gonna be worse though

Went out and hunted over knocked down corn. Saw a few but not what I was expecting to see for a cold evening.

Hunted for about 4 hours this afternoon in a climber, wind blowing pretty good was swaying back & forth. Jumped 4 does & a small buck going in. Climbing down had 3 coming off the ridge & of course jumped one from its bed about 75 yards from the truck!

Not much blowing at all here in the east. Went and took my 3 year old with me for a little while this evening. Never really expected to see much with him with me. And I wasn't suprised. He's a little too fidgety... although he did a really decent job of stayin quiet... just couldn't stay still. He had fun... his first time out on a hunt we had fun, even with the cold and spittin sleet and snow he didn't want to leave. Got time to leave and he cried that he wanted to see a deer. But, when we got home he kept wanting to wear his vest and play with his binoculars... Think he's already hooked :)

That's one of the most successful hunts of the year. That's a parenting win if there ever was one!

I went out trying to stalk a little, but it was so cold that even with 20+ mph winds, the frozen carpet of leaves sounded like I was walking on bubble paper. Ended up bumping one, so I at least got to feel good about knowing where to find them in that stuff.
