was wondering how the catfishing is on this lake paticulry for larger fish any info would be appreciated

Actually I know an "old timer" that used to catch (regularly) 40 and 50 pound catfish out of this lake.
He did it on the levee end immediately after a BIG rain moved through.
His son brought pictures to work after I questioned the fact that it help fish that big. Wasn't saying he didn't do it, just hard to believe.
He has passed on since so I dunno if they are still in there like that or not.
I know when the bite is on you can catch a BUNCH of 11 and 12 inch bass in there.
