I use it. Put it on my boots and on the tree around me in the stand

Guy i was hunting with did. Had a very interesting experience with a black bear. Bear kept coming up his tree. No more vanilla in bear territory.

I'm a big user of it. Half of my yearly bow kills come from vanilla since I started using it 11 yrs ago. Two bucks on my wall died by the use of it. They get so much thrown at em on public land I haven't had a ton of success with it, but on private land it works great. You can't use it every time you go in. I usually wait 4-5 days between use or after a rain has washed the previous time away. I have a small spray bottle and I'll make a circle around my tree

It's not hardly 51.5% salt though...

Hmmm.....

I don't think they would eat it, I tasted it and oh my does NOT taste like the smell!!

I filled up 2 scent bombs with it, y'all think that would work?

I use it when I put out corn in front of the trail cams. I mix a couple ounces with a pint of water and spray around on the ground. Seems like I get a few more pics that way.

Not trying to start a war, but is this legal? It is not natural and is an attractant and my understanding was that a product has to have at least 51% salt and no added ingredients that are attractants (molasses, sugar, apple, etc...wouldn't vanilla fall into this category?).

Scent attractants are legal. The "attractants" they eat as bait are illegal.

Ah...

If scents was illegal wouldn't deer pee and all the cover scents we use also be questionable?

Maybe he thought they eat through the plastic bottles to drink the juice. Lol

Or, lick it off the trees or the ground where it is poured???

That's what they do, but their still attratants. In fact I just had 5 does come in to it and do that very same thing downwind of me.

Evercalm is worth the money!

I used it in Texas by mixing vanilla in with the corn in my feeder, and then spraying it on myself as a cover scent. So they were used to the smell, and it helped me blend in. Never felt like it was a huge success, but at least everything smelled nice, so I continued it.

Haven't tried it here yet.
