I got the 2nd hunt Nov 30-2. I drove by unit 6 the other day and I saw they are still cleaning up uxo's. I hope they get it cleaned up before bow season.

I got the same hunt. It took them two years to clean up a section of unit 3. So don't count on it.

They were cleaning them up during turkey season too.... closed the area towards the end of season.... I think GRAMPS got a hunt around that weekend too TJ86.

Negative.... I got a catoosa hunt.... I will wait for the first come, first serve permits for unit 1 & 2 when they go on sale.

I got drawed thanksgiving weekend. I can't wait. We got the late hunt last year and came home with a 10pt and a 7pt. We killed early so we took them to the slaughter house to hang them in the freezer so we could still hunt. There were a lot of deer hanging but the guy that runs it said the weekend before he had to turn people away so many were brought in. And that's the hunt we got this year, so I'm pumped and cant wait.
