I've taken the new Preymaster 4 out once two mornings ago and called in a hawk. No coyotes! Going late this afternoon. Maybe they'll be hungry. Incidentally, the new PM4's are pretty nice and affordable. A major step up from the PM 3 although it has worked great for me.
 
I went early in the summer and used a fawn in distress call and just kept calling in does.
 
The bugs haven't bothered me as bad the last couple of afternoons. But summer foilage is so hard to see thru, that I may be calling some up and not see them. I hope I ain't educating all of 'em! Still fun to try.
 
Iv'e been out a few times. I missed one about a month ago. Right now, I have been working/ thinking about starting a Tennessee coyote hunting club. Gonna take some time, but hunting yotes is my passion.

I havnt been in a few months , the fields i hunt are full of corn and soybeans and its just to tall to really hunt untill they come through and pick it all. Ill probally give the cotton tail distress a few toots while deer hunting this fall but wont really get into it untill january.
 
killed a big male about a month ago tried several more times with no luck since then still to hot and the yotes have all they want to eat this time of year.
