Just curious how many of u may be interested in caring a shotgun to the woods? I've been wondering if we could get shotguns added to the muzzleloader season.

Nor I. Takes away from the "primitive" side of the season for me. Meaning, one shot to get it done, or having to reload the ol smokepole, not just throw another slug in. ;)

I say "yes" for economic stimulus reasons ;) . Shotgun slugs are expensive (the ones I like to shoot), and maybe folks would go out and buy a slug gun too.

lol.Why would you do that.Shotguns are for rabbits, birds and squirrels.

This is false. put a slug barrel on it and it is for deer or don't put the barrel on and it is still for deer, just have to be closer. some of the WMA's don't allow rifles....

Wish it were an open. Modern ML's are actually more accurate down range. I just hate cleaning and foolin with a ML.

rather see us go to 45/70 like in Mississippi. I hates me some muzzleloaders.

You guys need to get a smokeless ML..No cleaning involved..

Dont get me wrong I love going out with my muzzleloader. Heck when I typed this my ol smoke pole was hanging beside me. And will be tomm morning too. Was just thinking it be cool to have a slug barrel during the fall only to switch come spring and go after the thunder chickens.
