Anybody saved any cicadas?

Did anyone else save some cicadas for bait? I have some in the freezer in case I want to use them. Would the fish bother eating them now that they are all dead and everything is back to normal? Sure I could catch a bluegill or two with them but I'm wondering if anyone else has done the same and saved some for later.

Not sure catman, but i just got my cicada lures in from Japan and i just put them in the closet to wait for the next round. Didn't figure worth trying until they come back out.
