Looking at some property in White County. Appears to have a decent amount of deer based on county kill count.

thanks guys. I did notice some corn fields and could only imagine nice big corn fed deer haha. the property I am looking at is mountain land and butts up to a few farm fields. No corn though......

Are you buying just to hunt on? If you plan on living and hunting there you are really close to LOTs of public land with Bridgestone/Firestone WMA

Lost creek is the best area in the whole county in my opinion, as far as quality and quantity. I hunt mostly up top but have places all over the county. Like said before, pressure and access would be the biggest possible downside.

Lost Creek used to be great. I was raised in White County and lived/hunted there till about 2001. I used to work with some guys that hunted lost creek, they were always killing good deer.
