All else equal, mountain ground (east side) will have fewer, but sometimes better deer. Ag ground will be boom or bust depending on how much cover is around.
thanks guys. I did notice some corn fields and could only imagine nice big corn fed deer haha. the property I am looking at is mountain land and butts up to a few farm fields. No corn though......

Lost creek is the best area in the whole county in my opinion, as far as quality and quantity. I hunt mostly up top but have places all over the county. Like said before, pressure and access would be the biggest possible downside.
Lost Creek used to be great. I was raised in White County and lived/hunted there till about 2001. I used to work with some guys that hunted lost creek, they were always killing good deer.
