Well, I sighted in my muzzleloader and rifle for no apparent reason this year. I'm still going strong on the bow only. Anybody else's firearms collecting dust?

Bow only here. I wouldnt hunt with a gun again if you paid me,hunting with a bow makes me really hunt instead of just out shooting deer, I love it. The last deer i shot with a rifle was at about 350 yards opening morning about 5 minutes after daylight wasnt alot of sport to it, that was 15 years ago.

I've done the same thing. I built a .308 bean field gun and have carried it to the woods twice. The rest of the time I've either carried my bow or ML. Where I'm seeing all my deer at, its so thick you can't shoot over 50 yards anyway. So I figure if I get a shot, it's gonna be in bow range and a big ole buck would mean a lot more to me via bow than with a gun.

Funny I posted this because I decided to hunt in a pop up blind on a field edge with my 30 30. Pop up blind with a bow hadn't worked for me yet.

I carried a rifle for the second time in 5 years Sunday. Gotta work this weekend but next weekend Im picking the bow back up and finishing the season with it.

My rifle keeps calling, but I am resisting. It's mostly because of the area I am hunting, but also because I need a bow kill. Going tomorrow!
