Anybody caught any sauger yet ?

Just wondering if anyone has caught any? Thinking about heading to old hickory or cheatam tomorrow. I've only fished tn river for sauger and the report is not good there.
Just wanted to try something new any info would be great. Also is there somewhere to buy minnows around oldhickory?

We caught a meager 2 Thursday and saw 4 more caught. Water temps warming nicely, so should the sauger.

But we caught 2 limits today.

they have been catching the fire out of them on cordell hull, putting in at roaring river ramp.

Thanks for the info I have some buddies that caught some up that way today. I still have'nt been , I'm torn between sauger and crappie. It's about prime time for both.

Fortunate here to be able to catch sauger and crappie both within few hundred yards of each. It's great!
