I have a whole bunch of ghillie material that was part of a contract overrun for military ghillie suits. It is a synthetic fiber that is about the thickness of jute, but much lighter. It repels water and is made in the US. I have some greens, browns, and tans in different shades. When I say I have a bunch, I mean you'd need to bring a pickup truck bed to get it. Obviously, the original use of it was to make ghillie suits, but it could be used to camouflage blinds and tree stands too. I'm not interested in trying to piece it out a little at a time, but will make someone a good deal on the whole bunch of it. I'll add some pictures a little later and can talk with folks who have a serious interest about figuring out a way to quantify it. It would need to be picked up in Dunlap.
The material was made in Dalton, GA, so it is not Chinese junk.

I know you said you didn't want to piece it out but if you do I would like to buy some from you to make a couple of ghillie suits. I live in Hixson and come to Dunlap to eat quite often.
I may take a little if you bring it back to Hixson. Any idea what the total cost is?

You say that like you got some experience making them, and if that's the case then let me know if you'd ever be interested in selling a finished one to me. I've always wanted my own ghillie suit, they are the ultimate camouflage.

I'm afraid my suit building days are long behind me.

I know you want it gone but you'd probably come out ahead selling it by the bundle or pound.
I'm thinking about it. The problem is quantifying it. The packs of each are not all the same size because there was a "recipe" for the suits that used different amounts of each color. It is so light that weighing it is not a great way either. I'll try and figure a way out.

how large are the pieces? Generally speaking….i understand they aren't all the same

I see the one pic but nothing to judge it against

Diameter or length? Some colors are a little smaller diameter than others, but it is probably the diameter of the material on a mop on average. The length is around 18-24 inches.
