I am planning to order a new muzzleloader next week to get ready for the August hunt and regular season. Looking at the CVA Wolf with a Nikon Prostaff P3.

Anyone ever order from these folks? Good or bad experiences?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks all!

In Unit CWD, the August hunt is archery and muzzleloader. I love bow hunting, but I am not too proud to go with a gun when the opportunity presents itself.

Looks like you cant see any thing besides BB guns now for them on the web, reckon have to walk in and ask them to price the gun if not in the show case.

Wish I had thought of that yesterday. It was the rare day that I actually stepped foot into a Walmart.

probably one of the best places you can order from. Cabelas and basspro do not allow returns if something is wrong, muzzle loaders is much better to deal with and they take care of you.

Have had good experiences with muzzle-loader.com. Wal-Mart can have some good prices but most stock muzzleloaders on a seasonal rotation. I haven't seen any in the local Wal-Mart's yet but I believe they can order it for you.

I ordered the Optima V2 Nitride Combo they offer. For under $370 shipped, it seemed like a great deal. I will probably upgrade the optics next season if needed. It is supposed to be here Monday or Tuesday. I will need to practice shooting out of the tree saddle once I get it sighted in.

Great place to make a purchase from, I ordered a CVA Optima V2 from them last season, it was on my front door step the same week! Plus it was packed well.

My gun showed up yesterday on schedule. Everything looks great. I am hoping to get to the range this weekend to cook up a load and get it sighted in.

Thanks for all of the information!

Got out and shot the new Optima I got from them Saturday. First 2 rounds were about 2" low of the bull at 35 yards and touching. One more shot at 100 yards had me 13" low. Made an adjustment - 4th shot was an inch high at 100. I could not be happier with that purchase (expect for killing a buck this coming weekend with it ;) )
