If you reload, brass can be formed from 5.56/223 brass, and 110-125gr bullets are becoming more readily available for just this caliber (and its ballistic competitor, the .300 Whisper)
I have Less than $650 in my 300BLK, not including optics - I have played with it and was ringing steel gongs @ 300yds... Happy with it so far. I hunted about half of last deer season with it and will probably do the same again this year. Ammo has been a bit tough to find - I have about 600rds I had picked up here and there to get be by for a bit.
I had a DD m4v1 and love it,fit and finish secont to none and just runs grea t with any ammo I feed it ,now I want another,really like the noveske too!
