any body got any sick days that they will give me ,I want to go crappie fishing and I won't get off till after xmas and the crappie are wearing it out in muddy creek .

Ha... I've got about 1000 jigs that color. It's a good thing too since that's about the only color I have. It was killer back home and I went fool and bought enough to last me... and then I moved.

I haven't crappie fished in several years. Been thinking about it more and more since I see them all over Douglas everytime I go. Catches near the dam have been slow the last couple of days for the guys I talk to. Only getting 5 or 6 keepers each trip. They have been catching them in 20 foot of water. I thought they would be shallower this time of year?

silverfox how bout the crappie report from muddy creek, looks like I am going to lay off work and go my self- deer season killed my days off.

I didn't go. Had too much other stuff going on and kinda been under the weather. I hope to possibly get on the water in the next day or two.

I have been wanting to try the walleye at the dam. I've never caught one but from what I hear, they were up that far the last couple of weeks before all this rain. I don't know what this water will do with them.

I've been bass fishing a good bit on Douglas lately with a few good fish getting caught. I've seen a bunch of bait fish... mostly are down in the water around 10-15 feet. 3 weeks ago they were up top. Kinda weird for them to go back down without moving to the backs of the creeks first. I was kinda wondering if it was CRAPPIE?

If you haven't been on Douglas lately, the water is up about 6 or 7 foot from where it was 2 weeks ago. There is a lot of brush underwater that was already out. Seen a couple of guys throwing corks in the brush and catching some crappie between Flat Creek and Muddy Creek on the main lake.

Good luck.
